Rice Armchair
On the Rice Armchair, the rear legs continue straight up past a concave back rail and finish as two fine posts above it, so the outline of the chair ends in points rather than a closed curve. Open arms leave the sides clear, and the upholstered seat is the only solid mass. It brings a linear, almost calligraphic quality to a dining table or a desk.
